Dubai, UAE – In a significant move to advance talent management within the government, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence of the UAE, has appointed Amna Hamood Obaid Al Suwaidi as Chief Executive Officer of the Future Resources Sector at the Dubai Government Human Resources Department.
The appointment was made through Executive Council Resolution No. (91) of 2025 and is effective immediately. This resolution will also be officially published in the Gazette, marking her formal induction into this key leadership position.
In her new role, Amna Al Suwaidi will be pivotal in steering the Future Resources Sector, focusing on talent development, workforce planning, and innovative human resource strategies across government entities in Dubai. This position reflects the city’s commitment to fostering a dynamic workforce that supports Dubai’s long-term vision for smart governance and innovation.
Her appointment demonstrates Dubai’s commitment to reinforcing leadership across its governmental bodies, ensuring that strategic initiatives are driven by seasoned professionals who can meet the evolving challenges of the public sector and international benchmarks.
