Alia Bhatt recently hosted her inaugural Christmas celebration in her stunning six-storey residence, Krishna Raj Bungalow, signifying a new beginning in her life after celebrating Diwali at Vastu. The intimate gathering featured close family and friends, such as her mother Soni Razdan, sister Shaheen Bhatt, and friend Akansha Ranjan Kapoor, reflecting the warmth and festive joy of the season.
A heartwarming moment was captured when Alia posed with her mother-in-law, Neetu Kapoor, showcasing the strong bond within the Kapoor-Bhatt family. Shaheen Bhatt also shared candid images from the event, playfully captioned, “Tis the season, etc, etc.” Alia opted for an elegant little black dress, while Shaheen stood out in a bright hot pink outfit. Soni Razdan completed the festive look in a chic black ensemble, rounding out this elegant family gathering. However, fans noticed the absence of Ranbir Kapoor and their daughter, Raha, in the shared photos.
Krishna Raj Bungalow, now the family’s residence, carries historical significance as it was formerly owned by Bollywood icon Raj Kapoor and his wife, Krishna Raj Kapoor. The property was later passed down to Rishi and Neetu Kapoor in the 1980s. Now, Ranbir and Alia are set to continue this illustrious legacy. The couple has been closely involved in the mansion's construction and design, making frequent visits to ensure every detail meets their expectations. There are reports suggesting that they might soon officially move in, possibly on an auspicious date, upholding the Kapoor family tradition.
On the professional side, Alia was last seen in Jigra and is preparing for her upcoming role in Yash Raj Films’ Alpha. Meanwhile, Ranbir is gearing up for Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana: Part 1, with a release slated for Diwali 2026. Fans eagerly anticipate their on-screen reunion in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-awaited film Love & War. With their personal and professional lives flourishing, Alia and Ranbir remain one of Bollywood’s most cherished couples, effectively balancing family life with their cinematic careers.
