Abu Dhabi is gearing up to host the fourth edition of the Al Thuraya Exhibition and Platform from January 25 to 29, 2026, at Marina Hall, ADNEC Centre, under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Dr Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan.
Her Highness serves as the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Cultural and Educational Institutions and also heads the Al Thuraya Platform.
Supported by the Abu Dhabi Convention and Exhibition Bureau within the Department of Culture and Tourism, along with ADNEC Centre and the National Art Expressions Program of the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge, this event stands as a pivotal cultural and economic initiative.
The Al Thuraya Exhibition focuses on fostering creative industries and enhancing the cultural economy. It provides a platform for creatives, artists, and entrepreneurs while particularly highlighting Emirati women entrepreneurs, granting them the opportunity to showcase their projects, network, and discover potential partnerships.
Building on the successes of earlier editions, this event will include a rich program of art exhibitions, cultural and poetry evenings, panel discussions, and specialized workshops aimed at showcasing women-led enterprises and uncovering avenues for sustainable growth within cultural and creative sectors.
This platform is vital in empowering Emirati women entrepreneurs by enabling them to showcase their innovative endeavors, broaden professional horizons, and connect with new audiences interested in culture. It is designed to align creative outputs with Abu Dhabi’s vision for cultural tourism.
Feedback from participants in previous years has emphasized how the Al Thuraya Platform has facilitated genuine growth for their initiatives and encouraged collaborations with both local and international entities, reinforcing their foothold in cultural and economic spheres.
Furthermore, this exhibition enriches Abu Dhabi’s position as a cultural and tourism hub, elevating the standard of cultural tourism and enhancing the overall quality of life.
The platform revels in robust media support, promoting messages of creativity, empowerment, and national identity. The exhibition welcomes the public and all culture enthusiasts to participate in its diverse activities.
