The weather this week is expected to bring a variety of conditions across the region, starting with partly cloudy to cloudy skies. Early in the week, some northern and eastern areas are likely to experience rainfall, which may cause temporary disruptions. This rain is part of a weather pattern that will see temperatures gradually dropping by midweek. However, by the weekend, temperatures are predicted to rise slightly, bringing some relief after the cooler days.
Humidity levels in the mornings may result in the formation of fog or mist, particularly in certain coastal and inland areas. This reduced visibility could affect early morning travel and outdoor activities, so motorists and pedestrians are advised to exercise caution.
Wind conditions will fluctuate from light breezes to fresh winds, but at times, these winds could strengthen significantly, reaching speeds up to 60 kilometers per hour. Such gusts can cause blowing dust and sand, which may impair visibility and create challenging conditions for driving, especially in open and exposed areas. The dusty winds might also affect outdoor events and general day-to-day activities, requiring extra attention to safety.
Marine conditions are expected to be hazardous for most of the week. The Arabian Gulf will experience rough to very rough seas during the early part of the week, making it risky for small boats and vessels to operate safely. Sea conditions are forecasted to ease gradually as the weekend approaches, but caution will still be necessary for maritime navigation. Similarly, the Oman Sea will experience rough patches at times, transitioning to moderate seas by the weekend. Fishermen, sailors, and anyone involved in marine activities are advised to monitor weather updates closely and take all necessary precautions.
Given the combination of rainfall, fog, strong winds, and rough seas, residents and travelers are encouraged to stay informed through reliable weather reports and prepare accordingly to ensure safety during this week’s varying weather conditions.
