Faculty members of the S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University have prepared and published new educational textbooks for higher education institutions across Turkmenistan. The new academic publications were approved by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and released with the support of the Turkmen State Publishing Service.
University officials stated that the textbooks were designed to strengthen modern agricultural education and improve the quality of higher studies in fields related to economics, accounting, veterinary sciences, and animal care. The publications are expected to support both university lecturers and students in specialized academic programs.
One of the major new textbooks is titled “Sectoral Accounting and Analysis.” The book was written by professors Orazsoltan Halmyradova, Ogulsuray Godekova, Dayanchmyrat Murrikov, and Maksat Jumayev. The textbook explains financial and economic operations within agricultural and industrial sectors and focuses on accounting methods and economic analysis.
According to the university, the publication was prepared in line with the National Program for the Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan for 2022–2052. The book is divided into two sections that cover accounting systems, financial reporting, industrial costs, economic evaluation methods, labor resources, agricultural production, and financial management techniques.
The university also introduced another important publication titled “Zoohygiene,” written by Associate Professor and Doctor of Veterinary Sciences Tore Garlyev. The textbook focuses on animal hygiene, veterinary science, environmental quality, and livestock health management. It explains scientific methods for improving animal health, productivity, and disease prevention in modern agricultural systems.
The book contains detailed chapters about hygiene practices for horses, cattle, camels, dogs, poultry farming, turkey farming, and fish breeding. It also includes information about the care and management of the famous Akhal-Teke horses, veterinary regulations, transportation safety for animals, and modern stable equipment used in the industry.
University officials said the new publications will become valuable resources for students studying veterinary medicine, agricultural economics, accounting, and livestock sciences. The books are also expected to help future specialists improve professional skills needed for the modernization of Turkmenistan’s agricultural and veterinary sectors.
The release of these textbooks reflects the country’s continued efforts to improve higher education and support scientific research in agriculture and animal sciences. Authorities believe strengthening educational materials will contribute to the long-term development of the agricultural sector and help prepare highly qualified specialists for the future.
