On Thursday, Sharjah celebrated a remarkable gathering of love as 1,100 couples from across the UAE participated in the Emirate’s second mass wedding event. Organized by the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, the ceremony took place at Al Bayt Mitwahid Hall in the Al Rahmaniyah area.

Sheikh Dr Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Ruler's Office, attended the event, warmly welcoming the newlyweds and wishing them joy and prosperity. He remarked that strong families are the foundation of personal and societal achievements.

The festivities included traditional performances by folk groups, showcasing songs that celebrate Emirati culture and the new beginnings for these families. The lively music and dancing created an atmosphere rich with national pride while highlighting the intimate moments shared by the couples.

As the event wrapped up, Sheikh Dr Salem took photos with the newlyweds, who expressed their sincere appreciation for the support and recognition.
