Several civilians have been killed and injured in a series of heavy weapon attacks across multiple regions of Myanmar, including Mandalay, Tanintharyi, Bago, and Sagaing. The incidents have raised serious concerns about civilian safety amid ongoing violence.
According to official reports, shelling in villages caused casualties, including the death of a school teacher in Mandalay Region. Other civilians, including men, women, and even a child, were injured in separate attacks and taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Authorities stated that the attacks involved heavy weapons, rockets, and other forms of armed violence targeting residential areas. Local residents have expressed fear and anger over the continued incidents, which have disrupted daily life and created unsafe conditions.
Security forces have increased operations to identify those responsible and prevent further attacks. Officials said efforts are ongoing to strengthen safety measures and restore stability in affected regions.
