Kia has officially unveiled the 2026 Seltos, showcasing an impressively bold design that distinguishes it from earlier models. This new SUV combines striking visuals with a technology-rich cabin, highlighting Kia's commitment to enhancing its standing in the premium compact SUV market.
Potential buyers can now book the Seltos with a nominal fee of ₹25,000, available at authorized dealers or through Kia's official website. Detailed pricing is set to be announced on January 2, with the first deliveries anticipated in mid-January.
The 2026 model is offered in three trims—Tech Line, GT Line, and X-Line—with various configurations to meet diverse consumer tastes. Engine options include a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 115 hp, a 1.5-litre turbo petrol generating 160 hp, and a 1.5-litre diesel variant with 116 hp. Transmission choices range from manual to CVT, DCT, and automatic, tailored to the selected engine.
Inside, the SUV presents a refined cabin design influenced by the larger Syros, complete with a sweeping 12.3-inch infotainment screen, a matching 12.3-inch digital display, and a dedicated 5-inch HVAC control. User-friendly physical buttons complement the ambient lighting, plush leatherette upholstery, ventilated front seats, and seamless wireless connectivity to enhance the driving experience. The higher trims add a panoramic sunroof, wireless compatibility for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and an 8-speaker Bose audio system.
In terms of safety and assistance, the Seltos features a significant upgrade with ADAS Level 2, which includes 21 autonomous capabilities. These systems encompass front collision warnings, lane keeping assistance, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alerts, and adaptive cruise control. Parking is made easier thanks to features like a 360-degree camera and parking collision avoidance assistance.
The latest Seltos has also seen an increase in size, measuring 4460 mm in length, 1830 mm in width, and 1635 mm in height, with a 2690 mm wheelbase. This enlargement fosters improved legroom, stability, and a stronger road presence.
With its striking design, enhanced dimensions, state-of-the-art technology, and safety innovations, the 2026 Kia Seltos is set to transform the compact SUV landscape, providing a sophisticated and practical option for modern buyers.
