The International Holding Company (IHC) wrapped up its participation in the Make it in the Emirates Forum 2026, securing more than AED 40 billion in strategic alliances aimed to bolster the UAE's industrial and economic landscape.
Over four days, the IHC Pavilion drew nearly 100,000 attendees, showcasing contributions from over 40 group companies. The pavilion emerged as a key venue for discussions involving business leaders, policymakers, investors, and global partners.
During the forum, IHC revealed more than 60 strategic agreements across various sectors, including technology, infrastructure, energy, logistics, manufacturing, and food security. The group also hosted over 40 sessions featuring more than 70 expert speakers, underscoring its expanding role in shaping the UAE’s industrial agenda.
One significant announcement involved Alpha Dhabi Holding and TA’ZIZ, which formed a collaboration totaling approximately USD 10 billion (AED 36.7 billion) for investments in industrial chemicals, aiming to boost the UAE's domestic manufacturing capabilities.
Additionally, NMDC Infra has signed an AED 1.046 billion EPC agreement with Lantania for a desalination project in Fujairah.
In the energy domain, NMDC Energy partnered with Borouge to enhance major energy and infrastructure projects with advanced steel pipe coating solutions.
On the food front, NRTC entered a strategic alliance with Emirates Fast Food Company to improve the sustainable sourcing of fresh produce across the UAE.
Another noteworthy development came from 2PointZero Group, which joined forces with ISEM and KEZAD Group to create a new packaging manufacturing facility in Abu Dhabi.
The event featured discussions on technologies, resilient supply chains, AI factories, free zone development, and UAE-Mexico economic partnerships, emphasizing how investment and innovation can enhance long-term economic competitiveness.
Every day at the IHC Pavilion was centered around a strategic theme linked to the UAE's national development objectives, such as “Confidence Through Continuity,” “UAE First,” “Turning Capital into Capability,” and “Engineering the Future.”
Syed Basar Shueb, CEO of IHC, remarked that this event signifies a vital advancement in the UAE's industrial transformation journey. He stated that IHC aims to align investment with operational capabilities to foster robust industries, resilient supply chains, and future-ready economic frameworks.
The involvement of over 40 group companies showcased how IHC’s Dynamic Value Networks model facilitates integrated ecosystems across various sectors.
In alignment with the UAE’s In-Country Value (ICV) initiative, several IHC group companies recorded significant ICV scores, with NMDC Energy achieving 85.16%, Aldar at 71.08%, and Trojan Construction Group at 62%, reflecting their contributions towards local manufacturing, engineering, and infrastructure projects.
With MIITE 2026 successfully concluded, IHC reaffirmed its dedication to advancing the UAE's industrial development strategy through investment, localization, technology, and global cooperation.
