Dubai authorities have arrested a man for conducting unlicensed hair transplant procedures inside his 3-bedroom apartment, raising serious concerns about public safety and healthcare violations.
The suspect, whose identity has not been disclosed, was reportedly promoting his hair transplant services through videos on social media, attracting clients despite lacking proper medical licenses.
Following a coordinated raid by the Dubai Police Anti-Economic Crimes Department and the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), the man’s apartment was sealed. Officers confiscated all medical equipment, chemicals, and instruments found in the makeshift clinic. Investigators discovered that one of the rooms in the apartment had been converted into a treatment area where the illegal procedures were being performed.
Dubai Police confirmed that the suspect’s activities violated the country’s healthcare regulations and endangered the lives of individuals seeking treatment. Authorities emphasized that such unlicensed medical services are illegal and potentially dangerous.
The public has been strongly warned against availing services from unlicensed medical practitioners. Residents are encouraged to report any suspicious or illegal healthcare activities through Dubai Police’s official online channels to prevent health risks and protect the community.
This arrest serves as a reminder of Dubai’s strict regulations regarding medical procedures and the importance of seeking treatment only from licensed professionals.
