Major Safety Initiative Launched for Liwa Festival 2026

Major Safety Initiative Launched for Liwa Festival 2026

Post by : Badri Ariffin

The Liwa International Festival 2026 Organising Committee has unveiled a robust safety awareness campaign in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Police, the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority, and the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, emphasizing a commitment to the safety of visitors and the efficient operation of the festival.

This initiative aims to elevate public awareness, boost emergency preparedness, and secure a safe atmosphere for all participants, attendees, and staff throughout the festival's duration. According to organisers, this proactive measure is particularly important during high-energy events that draw large crowds.

As part of the initiative, comprehensive guidance will be provided on essential safety protocols, emergency procedures, and support services available on-site. Specially trained response teams from partnering organisations will be on hand to address incidents promptly and provide immediate help when necessary.

A significant aspect of the initiative includes the distribution of safety helmets to participants, promoting responsible participation and minimizing injury risks during festival activities. Officials highlighted this measure as crucial for enhancing the event’s overall security.

Additionally, the safety drive encompasses clear messaging, visible signage, and direct interaction with attendees to inform them about emergency routes, medical services, and other support facilities.

Festival organisers noted that the collaboration between security, emergency, and humanitarian agencies sets a precedent for event safety, ensuring that Liwa International Festival 2026 provides an enjoyable, well-organized, and secure experience for all.
