Al Madinah University in Ajman has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ajman Government's Department of Legal Affairs to fortify their collaboration in the realms of legal knowledge, innovation, training, and expertise sharing.
This agreement aims to enhance the synergy between academic institutions and governmental bodies, promoting a legal work environment that aligns with contemporary practices and technological evolution.
The MoU was officially signed by Imran Khan and Abdulrahman Ali Hamid Al Shamsi.
Under this accord, the two parties will jointly develop institutional capabilities and enhance legal work integration through training modules, workshops, research initiatives, and the exchange of best practices.
The collaboration will also focus on creating specialized training courses in sophisticated legal domains, such as the application of artificial intelligence in legal practices, legal drafting, and procedural techniques. These initiatives are aimed at ensuring relevance with the latest legislative trends and modern legal standards.
Additionally, both sides will investigate the establishment of a platform or system for documenting and sharing legal information, training initiatives, and professional resources to maximize advantages for both institutions.
In a bid to bolster academic and scientific dialogue, the two entities have agreed to host an international scientific conference in May, titled “Legislative Innovation and Artificial Intelligence in the United Arab Emirates.” This event will gather legal scholars, researchers, and policymakers to explore innovation and future prospects in legal services within the UAE.
Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to fostering innovation and tech-driven solutions within the legal sphere, aimed at enhancing service efficiency and establishing sustainable partnerships through joint training and expertise exchange initiatives.
The signing ceremony was attended by Rashid Khalfan Al Nuaimi, Nasser Al Qahtani, Ahmed Al Fouly, Abdulrahim Hussein, and Salma Sinaran.
