Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, the Crown Prince of Ajman, recently visited the ‘Make in the Emirates’ initiative alongside prominent officials, including Sheikh Hamid and Sheikh Rashid bin Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi.
During the visit, His Highness received updates from Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber about vital national projects designed to fortify the UAE’s industrial landscape. These projects aim to enhance growth, sustainability, and international competitiveness.
As part of the engagement, the Crown Prince toured the EDGE Group pavilion, inspecting cutting-edge defense technology advancements. He also visited the UAE Cybersecurity Council's booth, where he learned about initiatives to bolster cybersecurity and protect the nation’s digital framework.
Sheikh Ammar reiterated the leadership's strong commitment to cultivating the industrial sector. He pointed out ongoing initiatives aimed at enhancing national industries while creating an environment conducive to growth and innovation.
He remarked that the ‘Make in the Emirates’ initiative epitomizes the UAE's industrial development, guided by a long-term strategy to create a sustainable and competitive industrial base.
The Crown Prince emphasized that the national industry has emerged as a fundamental driver of economic diversification, underlining the resilience and adaptability of the UAE's economy in the face of global changes.
He concluded by noting that the initiative plays a crucial role in advancing industrial growth by supporting local enterprises, fostering innovation, and attracting investment, which solidifies the UAE’s status as a key global industrial center.
The fifth iteration of ‘Make in the Emirates’ features over 1,245 exhibiting companies across 12 diverse industrial sectors. The event anticipates drawing more than 120,000 attendees, including investors, manufacturers, policymakers, and top industry leaders globally.
